Hajj Pilgrims Terminal Tent Project – Yanbu Airport
RAACO accomplished the rapid-track construction of the Hajj Pilgrims Reception Terminal and structural tents at Prince Abdulmohsin Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Yanbu within a record 3-week timeframe.
The project featured vast clear-span aluminum and high-tensile steel structural tents with zero interior poles, optimizing pilgrim circulation and high-density passenger flow during peak pilgrimage seasons.
Project milestones:
- High-grade German-certified PVC/PVDF membranes rated flame-retardant to international standards (DIN 4102 B1).
- Fully ducted climate control systems maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures in extreme summer heat.
- Complete electrical infrastructure, high-lumen LED illumination, and emergency safety exits compliant with Saudi Civil Defense regulations.
