Road Paving Standards & Superpave Asphalt Specifications
RAACO executes roadway and parking infrastructure strictly aligned with Saudi Ministry of Transport and municipal engineering standards. Works begin with deep grading and vibratory compaction of sub-base and aggregate base courses to establish high California Bearing Ratios (CBR) capable of carrying heavy freight loads.
Bituminous prime and tack coats (MC1 / RC2) are mechanically applied, followed by paving and rolling of dense-graded Superpave binder and wearing courses utilizing modern asphalt pavers and pneumatic rollers. Projects are finalized with precast sulfate-resistant curbs, heavy-duty 400-bar interlocking pavers, and reflective thermoplastic traffic striping with glass beads.
